After spending numerous evenings in search of the perfect umbrella stroller I realized that there isn't one. However, ESPRIT Sun Speed is pretty close to it! It's lighter than my Chicco Travel system and it takes less space, so those trips to the store are not hassle anymore. It folds easily once you figure it out. ![]() I have purchased the additional cup and snack holder also from Amazon as I knew that the pocket on the back of the cover won't be big enough, but the basket is bigger than most. The harness looks flimsy however it still keeps my lively 11 month old in place pretty well. The seat is comfortable and my baby loves the stroller. Another feature that I also like is that it can recline so my baby can sleep. I also like the fact that I haven't seen this stroller anywhere else (although I'm familiar with the brand) which is nice for a change. Last, but definitely not the least is the great price. It's a shame that the free shipping didn't apply to this item but I'm still very happy with my purchase. This is pretty close to the PERFECT umbrella stroller, great features, easy to push and my feet dont kick the wheels, smooth ride, good for tall people. Nice BIG sun shade with pocket in the back. Nice Big storage basket. Nice saftey features. The seat is padded for a comfortable ride. The seat reclines all the way back so makes sleeping easy. My so is 6 1/2 months old and weighs 20 pounds and its PERFECT!! The foot rest can go up our down which is really nice. Light weight, folds up nice, its a little more work to fold it up that others. You need two hands but it only takes a second and it SOOO worth it! I have used many other strollers and this one is by FAR the BEST, I even think its better than those $300. Strollers to be quite honest. GREAT investment. I can use this stroller for the next year or two. This is an excellent, mid weight, affordable stroller with features lacking in some of the higher end equivalents. All of the adjustments are easy to see and use without needing 3 hands. The seat is well padded with a mesh covered built in pillow area for comfort and ventilation. The seat back reclines to flat and the leg rest raises for a larger baby when napping. The sun shade is large, under basket easily reachable and there is a pocket for quick grab items. I like that the color is bright and we are easily seen by traffic. The stroller has a five point harness and is very maneuverable - a great buy. I bought the orange one for my 22-mth old in anticipation of 3 sunny, outdoor vacations this year. The seat padding is magnificent for any age kid - it is extremely well padded. The recline angle is great and is smooth (2 sliders on the sides), especially for this price range. Probably I'd use this with a baby as young as 3 months. The depth of the seat from front to back is not so good with the footrest down - i wouldn't put any age kid in like this, however I just put the footrest up, and my daughter lounges with her legs in front of her. Interestingly enough, the footrest actually stands up (does a 180 from the down position), which I thought would be great to contain and add protection for younger babies laying down. The harness is only 5-point, not optional 3-point, however I unthreaded the shoulder end, rearranged the clips and managed to convert it to a 3-point - faster entry and exit for older kids. It has thick shoulder protection pads on the seatbelt. The fabric is thick - good quality and the orange colour is BRIGHT - think 'safety' orange! To clean it/remove the fabric you would have to unscrew it from the frame. The sunshade is standard size for umbrella strollers and very firm once in place - the extra clear plastic visor on the front is covered with a black mesh for more sun protection. I added a tie-on sunshade extender to give excellent coverage. On the back of the stroller there's a pocket which could fit several items ie wallet, couple of dipes/wipes, keys, phone, small toy etc. I purchased sunshine buggy buddy drink/gear holder to attach between the handles. The basket is a reasonable size with great access, for an umbrella stroller. Clarity chromatography software download. Capacity of 6.6 pounds for basket. The steering is great on smooth, flat surfaces. A bit rickety out and about, but for this price, that will be standard. It corners and does figure-8's pretty easily - very good for shopping in tight places. The steering would probably get heavier with an older child (mine is 23 pounds). Handle height good for me at 5' 6' - if you're 6' plus, get something else with taller handles. The fold is pretty compact - even better without the sunshade. It goes back on more easily than it pops off. Fold mechanism is actually doable with your feet (!) once I read the manual (extra button for safety on kickbar). Couldn't find a latch to close stroller?? I don't generally need one, as this lives in the back of my car, however when flying I guess I'll use a bike bungy cord around it.
